How to choose infant and toddlers educational toys to keep them occupied, interested and entertained.





Your infant can now sit up, and move around on the floor, but possibly they can’t walk.

They can make many sounds, but no defined words, or very few.

And they can focus and play with toys, but only for a minute or two, not much longer.

The infant and toddlers stage is the most difficult stage. There have been studies at day nurseries and childminders, that suggest that children between the ages of one and two, get the least planned attention and are considered to be the most difficult age group by caregivers.

Infants and toddlers are often seen as disruptive.

They have lost interest in baby toys, but are still too young to be involved in the activities provided for older children.

The second year is one of extraordinary rapid growth and development, but unless careful thought is given to how their needs can be provided for, the experience for children, can easily be negative and limiting.

The biggest test for us as parents is our patience, as our little infant is into everything and is everywhere.
